14 artists from around the globe were selected and commissioned by the Coca-Cola Company through Rock 'N Roll Agency in Belgium to represent their native country - challenged with the task of creating our own interpretation of 'The Coke Side Of Life' for a special artist edition series of visuals. I was chosen to represent the United States.
The visuals were used on a wide range of marketing and promotional materials and a website was created to showcase the artists and their work (see screenshots of the site further down below). The pieces were also silk-screened on canvas and showcased during Coca-Cola's 'Coke Side of Life' Art Exhibition on London's South Bank in England (as seen in the image at the bottom of the page). A live piece was created by the renowned pop artist Sir Peter Blake, who is mostly known for his cover art for The Beatles 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.'
The other artists involved were 013a (Romania), Adhemas Batista (Brazil), Büro Destruct (Switzerland), CaosCC (Spain), Creative XL (India), DJ Spinbalon (Venezuala), Extraverage (Hungary), Fung Wee Lim (Canada), Idokungfoo (Japan), Pixecute (Indonesia), Rex (South Africa), Serge Mienandi (Senegal, Africa), The Designers Republic (UK), Vault 49 (UK).
